Below are the overview of these dates.
Field | Meaning |

HIRE_DT | First date that this EMPLID/EMPL_RCD was hired (or started as a CWR) into an instance. Does not get a value for EMPL_RCDs created as ADL or ASG. Set when action of HIR is used. |
LAST_HIRE_DT | Latest date that this EMPLID/ EMPL_RCD was hired or re-hired (or started or re-started as a CWR) into an instance. Does not get a value for EMPL_RCD s created as ADL or ASG. Set when action of HIR or REH is used. |
ASGN_START_DT | First date this EMPLID/ EMPL_RCD was started (either as hire or additional assignment). |
LST_ASGN_START_DT | Latest date that this EMPLID/ EMPL_RCD was started or restarted. |
TERMINATION_DT | If on the instance, then this is the also the date the instance was terminated or completed. |
ORIG_HIRE_DT | Earliest date that this EMPLID/ERN INSTANCE was associated with the organization - regardless of what the EFFDT is for the first row in JOB. Customers can enter an earlier date here than the earliest JOB.HIRE_DT. |
On an instance record. you can modify the ORIG_HIRE_DT (Original Start Date field) and ORG_INST_SRV_DT (Org Instance Service Date field) dates if you wish.
On an additional assignment record, the data in the organizational instance will be displayed from the instance record and is not update-able.
