Application Designer Upgrade Options - Target Orientation

In this doodle we will see what is the difference between the "PeopleSoft Vanilla" and "Keep Customizations" target orientations in upgrade options. This option is one of the most critical option that has to selected as per your need during upgrade.

 

If the object definition in the Source database is *Changed and the Target database is Changed, the ACTION will be COPY. Application designer determines whether to have the upgrade flag checked based on the option you select for target orientation.

 

Upgrade flag will be checked only if you have "Keep Customizations" selected in target orientation.

 

Upgrade flag will not be checked if you have selected "PeopleSoft Vanilla" in target orientation.
