PeopleSoft Full Database Compare

During PeopleSoft upgrade every administrator has to perform full database compare to generate compare report. In this doodle I will explain how to do full database compare.

 

Step 1: Login into Application designer using the source database credentials.

 

Step 2: Create a new project definition. Click on File > New. You will be displayed with New    Definition dialog box. Select Project.

 

Step 3: Save the project with no objects added at all.

 

Step 4: Go To Tools > Compare and Report > To Database.

 

Step 5: Sign on Window will be displayed. Login to the Target database against which you want to generate compare report.

 

Step 6: Compare and Report window will be displayed. Click on Options and Select the Compare Type to be 'Database' and click Ok.

 

 

 

Step 7: Run the Compare from "Compare and Report" Window.
